Day 01

Departure from Chennai Airport arrival at Colombo Bandaranayake International Airport – visit Munishwaram Temple (Lord Ram prayed to Lord Shiva here), Manavari Temple (Lingam installed and prayed by Lord Ram) – Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel in Negombo, beach town located very close to Airport.

Day 02

Morning breakfast then travel to Kandy, recognized as one of the seven UNESCO world heritage sites in Srilanka – visit Temple of the Tooth (Lord Buddha), Murugan Temple – Dinner and Overnight stay at Kandy

Day 03

Depature in the morning and reach Nuwara Eliva – after breakfast visit Dunuwala, Laggala (This site is Ravanan died), Yahalanga (King Ravana’s body was displayed here after his death at the hands of Lord Ram to allow his countrymen to offer their last respect), Weragantota (First place where Sita was brought in to Sri Lanka in King Ravana’s Vimana), Sita Kotuwa (It is believed that Sita was moved to this place by King Ravana. It is literally translates to Sita’s Fort, Gurulupotha Lankapura – Dinner and overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 04

After breakfast – start local tour of the city which is famous for golf courses, trout streams, Victoria Park and boating/fishing on Lake Gregory – Visit Hakagala Botanical Gardens, Sita Amman Temple – Dinner and Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliva.

Day 05

Morning breakfast and then travel to Katargama – Visit Divurumpola Temple (This is the holy place where Sita performed her Agni Pariksha) – Jungles of Yala National Park – back to Hotel – Overnight stay in Tissamaharama.

Day 06

After breakfast – reach Colombo (the capital of Sri Lanka) – Visit beach areas of Hambantota – Panchamuga Anjaneyar Temple at Kalubowila – Overnight stay in Colombo.

Day 07

Morning breakfast then proceed for sightseeing in Colombo – Visit Galle Face Green, Viharamahadevi Park, National Museum, Old Parliament Building – Shopping to Odel, House of fashion, Beverly Street, Majestic City, etc. – Visit Kelaniy King (After King Ravana’s death, Vibeeshana was coroneted as King of Lanka by Lord Lakshmana) – Departure from Colombo airport.
